Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Dipi Media Co. collects through this website and the Wellspring Bible app, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Effective date: September 17, 2026

The short version. We collect as little as possible. Our web pages set no cookies and use no advertising trackers or third-party analytics. The Wellspring Bible app requires no account, contains no ads, and keeps your highlights, notes, and reading progress on your device. We do not sell or share personal information.

1. Who we are

Dipi Media Co. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a California corporation located at 13956 Caminito Caroline, San Diego, CA 92130, United States. We operate this website at https://dipimedia.com and develop the Wellspring Bible app for iPhone and iPad (the “App”). We are the data controller for the information described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@dipimedia.com.

2. This website

What we collect

  • Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information when you load a page: your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, the referring page, and the date and time. These logs are used for security, to keep the site running, and to diagnose problems.
  • Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the contents of your message.

What we do not do

  • Our pages do not set cookies or use local storage.
  • We do not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, social media pixels, or embedded trackers.
  • All fonts, scripts, and images on this site are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not send requests to third parties.
  • Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Because we do not track visitors, there is nothing for a browser “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off; we treat every visitor as if the signal were on. No third parties collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use this site.

Links to other sites

This site may link to other websites, including our YouTube channels, the App Store, and Apple’s legal pages. If you follow such a link you leave our site, and that site’s privacy policy (for example Google’s for YouTube, or Apple’s) applies instead of this one.

3. The Wellspring Bible app

Data stored on your device

The App does not require an account. Your reading position, highlights, notes, bookmarks, reading plan progress, downloaded audio, and settings are stored locally on your device. We cannot see this data and do not receive a copy of it.

iCloud backups

If you back up your device to iCloud, the App’s data on your device is included in that backup, which is stored and handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. We do not have access to your iCloud backups.

Audio streaming and downloads

Bible text is built into the App and is read entirely offline. Audio narration is delivered from our servers or a content delivery provider we use. When you stream or download a chapter, the request that reaches those servers contains only the standard technical information any web request carries: your IP address, the file requested, your device type and iOS version, and the date and time. No reading history, highlights, notes, or user or device identifiers leave your device. These delivery logs are used only for security, capacity planning, and troubleshooting, are not linked to you as a person, and are deleted under the provider’s standard retention period.

Data we do not collect in the App

  • No names, email addresses, or contact details are collected by the App.
  • No precise location.
  • No advertising identifiers, and no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
  • No third-party analytics SDKs.
  • No contacts, photos, microphone, or camera access.

Diagnostics through Apple

If you have chosen to share analytics and crash data with app developers in your device’s iOS settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymized crash reports and usage statistics. This information does not identify you, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

Purchases

If the App offers in-app purchases or subscriptions in the future, those transactions are processed by Apple. We receive only the transaction records Apple provides to developers, which do not include your name, email address, or payment details.

If our practices change

If a future version of the App collects additional data (for example, to add optional features), we will update this policy and the App Privacy details on the App Store before that version is released, and, where required, ask for your consent in the App.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with:

  • Service providers that host our website, deliver audio for the App, and provide our email, who may process data only on our instructions.
  • Apple, which distributes the App and processes any purchases and iCloud backups under its own policies.
  • Authorities, if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.

Every third party that receives personal information from us, including the providers above and any parent, subsidiary, or successor of Dipi Media Co., is required to provide the same or equal protection of that information as described in this policy. We do not use third-party analytics tools, advertising networks, or third-party SDKs that collect data.

If Dipi Media Co. is ever involved in a merger or sale, information we hold may be transferred to the successor, who will be bound by this policy.

6. Retention and deletion

  • Website and audio delivery logs are held by our hosting and delivery providers for a limited period under their own retention policies and then deleted. We do not keep separate copies of these logs.
  • Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for up to two years afterward so we can follow up, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • App data on your device is deleted when you delete the App. iCloud backups of that data can be removed in Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Account Storage.

7. Your rights and choices

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw any consent you have given. To do so, email hello@dipimedia.com from the address you used with us, or write to the mailing address above. We will respond within 30 days and will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

California residents. Whether or not the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) applies to a company of our size, we honor its core rights for everyone: the right to know what personal information we hold, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of any sale or sharing, to limit use of sensitive personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than providing our services. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

Visitors from the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. You also have the right to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We are located in the United States and our hosting and email providers process data there. If you contact us or use our site or the App from the EEA or the UK, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. We rely on your consent to that transfer when you email us, and on our legitimate interest in operating a secure website and delivering the App’s audio for server and delivery logs.

8. Children

Our website and the App are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

Our website is served over HTTPS. We limit the personal information we collect, restrict access to the people who need it, and use reputable providers for hosting and email. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change is material, we will post a notice on this site or in the App before it takes effect.
